On 26th July 2026, the Democratic Party of Kenya officially launched its Laikipia County Office in Nanyuki, marking a significant milestone in the party’s continued expansion and grassroots engagement across the country.
The launch was led by Party Leader Hon. Justin Muturi, E.G.H, and attended by senior national party officials including Deputy Party Leader Jane Mbuthia, National Chairperson Peter Ndubai, Secretary General Dr. Jacob Haji (PhD), National Organizing Secretary James Macharia, and National Chairperson of Young Democrats Beatrice Njeri, together with other national and county leaders.
The new office will serve as a centre for party coordination, member engagement, and community dialogue as the Democratic Party strengthens its presence in Laikipia County and advances its vision of inclusive, democratic, and people-centered leadership.
The Party also welcomed aspirants seeking elective positions to join the Democratic Party of Kenya and become part of a growing political movement committed to unity, justice, and service to the people.
